Lilburn is a city in western Gwinnett County, Georgia and is roughly 17 miles outside of Atlanta. With a population over 12,000 in 2012, according to City-Data, the Seaboard Air Line Railway founded the city in 1890.
In the 1920s, the city suffered from harsh economic times and a fire that ended a prosperous era. However, the Old Town district is now being revitalized with shopping and restaurants.
